1. What was the most disturbing prediction in the Singularity reading and why?
Out of all the different topics, I found the self-driving cars most disturbing. The fact that we won't rely on ourselves and on our phone to call cars and to not drive on our own anymore.
2. In what way was the job fair/interview process authentic? How could it be made more authentic? What did you learn about yourself through the process?
I feel that the job fair was quite helpful in the sense of how the whole project is coming together. I enjoyed the way we were able to talk to the producer and what we as specialists can contribute to their VR. I realized what I knew and learned during my time experimenting that I was able to 3D model an object with the no experience I had before.
3. Does advertising shape or reflect our society? Should there be stricter regulations on advertisers? If so, what restrictions should there be?
I feel that advertising does shape and reflect on our society. I think some if it comes from advertising, just as much as social media affects our perspective and views, advertising does the same as well. That is how we get our information and needs. I mean advertising is advertising. I think people should look into what they buy.
